I knew it had been a while since I posted on here but didn’t realize it was quite that long.

I have basically been Missing In Action from the Internet Marketing scene for the last year.

So what have I been doing for the last year?

Well, there’s been a lot going on in my private life….. many ups and downs.

In April, my youngest son was attacked by a dog and had to have stitches in his face.  That was a rather traumatic experience for him and for the rest of us too.  It is so difficult as a parent to see your child suffering and know that you can’t do anything to help, other than be there for him.

It has been an emotional journey after the attack, as the attack happened at a dog show, so there has been a lot of political crap going on.

It has been a tough year with our middle son, who has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, after six years of trying to get help for him, we may actually get some now.  He is now 13 and is taller than me, which makes it incredibly difficult for me to calm him when he goes into a rage.

I won’t go into all the emotional stuff that’s been happening.  On the bright side, we got a new puppy in August, she is now 6 months old and is just adorable, even though she is a wild child.  She has brought some positive moments into our lives and as naughty and destructive as she is, we all love her.

On the Internet Marketing side of things……. well, I’ve basically done nothing.  I think it was all getting me quite down and I couldn’t get motivated to do anything.  I stopped writing PLR and basically just stopped altogether.  I have done the odd writing jobs for clients, although I have probably lost a couple of good clients due to my lack of motivation.

I am now working part time as a cleaner, which is a crappy, crappy job, but at least it gives me some money toward the bills.  It also allows me to choose my own hours and work around the kids, which is something I need having a child with Aspergers.

Now that it’s 2013, I need to get off my butt and turn things around.  Although a cleaning job allows me to choose my own hours, it is not the ideal job.  So I need to find myself a business model and work toward creating myself a successful business.  At this point, I have not come up with anything new, so I may pull out the old PLR business model and work on that.

So…… watch this space, hopefully I will get around to posting on here more often and hopefully I will get some new PLR together to offer soon

Today I finished off a pack of PLR and added it to my PLR website QualityPLR.net

This PLR set is two niches combined into one – the ‘ex back’ niche and the ‘valentine’s day’ niche.  The pack contains 5 articles in the ‘ex back/valentine’s day’ niche.

This afternoon, after I had uploaded the articles to my website and set up all the payment links, I sent out an email to my subscribers to let them know of this new pack.  Shortly after I sent the email I received an email from one subscriber telling me that the links in the email didn’t work.  I checked the links and sure enough they didn’t work, they were being redirected to another website.   I contacted GetResponse and it turns out this is a problem on their end.  So anyway, that kind of messed up my email to my subscribers about my new PLR.

Then, tonight I created a WSO – Warrior Special Offer – on the Warrior forum.  Usually once the WSO is paid for, it appears immediately.  However, I paid for the WSO and yet it hasn’t appeared – it’s nowhere to be seen.  I have never had this happen before and am currently waiting to hear back from them to see what’s happening with it.

Anyway, I’m just having a bit of a rant as it’s quite frustrating that both of my promotional methods have failed on me so far today.

But I can’t believe that my article pack is not ‘meant to be’.  It’s a very good pack of articles and released at the perfect time, just 2 weeks before Valentine’s Day.

I’m not sure if I like it yet or not but I have given this blog a new look with a new theme.  I do like it in the sense that it is sleek and professional looking, just not sure about having one sidebar, I did like having two sidebars on this site.  But I will leave it like this for a while and see how I go.

Other than the new look I want to just touch on the topic of Procrastination!  I’m sure we can all relate to having those days when we procrastinate all day and at the end of the day look back and realize we have done nothing.  Well I’m having too many of those days lately and I really must stop them and start being more productive.

Today is the first day of my own personal 30 day PLR challenge and so far I’ve managed to stay on track – woo hoo!

I have written my article for the day – an article on migraines.  That is number 8 for the pack so I only need 2 more and I will be able to list that pack for sale.

1 day down – 29 to go.  Fingers crossed that I’ll stick it out and complete the 30 articles in 30 days this time!

Ghostbloggers

Today I got a postcard in the mail from Ghostbloggers – what a surprise.   Completely unexpected and just something very simple, but still something nice.  It was just a simple postcard saying – ‘thanks for writing about us on your blog’.   How cool is that!  Oh and they said that I rock!!!

I should add Ghostbloggers to my challenge – it should include writing and submitting 1 article a week to Ghostbloggers.  I might try and do that just so I can get a few more up for sale on their site!
