KimW is a member of the Warrior forum and has kidney failure. Kim has kidney dialysis twice a day six days a week (I believe, could be slightly wrong but I think these are the correct figures).
Kim was taken to hospital on the weekend because he couldn’t breath and his lungs were filled with fluid. They found he had internal bleeding but are still looking to find where it is coming from.
Kim has been trying to raise money for the kidney foundation and in particular through The Kidney Walk. Money raised for kidney research will go to a number of different research areas and one in particular is to find another medicine that transplant patients can have to reduce the risk of rejection. Kim, along with many others, cannot take the usual medication that is given as he has a severe reaction to it, so this area of research is one that will help him a lot if they can find another good medication to give patients.
Kim is terminally ill people, he has a goal to raise money with this kidney walk and I want to help him to not only reach this goal but to surpass it…..it may make a difference in the amount of hope he has, and hope can make the difference between life and beating the odds and death.
If you haven’t donated yet ………please……..a few dollars? The price of a cup of coffee? If enough of you will donate, Kim can see his goal become reality. It is all we can do, but it might make a difference.
