Thinking Of Making a Big Change To This Site

This Stay Home Mum site is probably the oldest site that I have and it has undergone a couple of changes over the years and I’m thinking it might be due for another one.  I’m going to think about it for a bit though just to make sure it is really what I want to do.

There are two main changes that I am thinking of making:

1. Change the WordPress theme to something different.  I want something professional, yet nice.  I have one in mind that I might use but it is a paid theme so still having a think about whether to fork out the money for a paid theme or not.

2. I am thinking I might move my blog to a ‘blog’ page and have a separate home page for this site.  I originally wanted this site to give some options of ways for Mums to earn money online and it doesn’t really give that clearly at the moment.  It has been more of a blog and that’s all, so I’m thinking of having a home page that lists some of the various options for making money online and keeping the blog but having it on a different page.

It’s going to take a bit of work though to get it to where I want it and at the moment it is still just in the ‘thoughts’ stage.  I still need to keep working on my other jobs and the site changeover will be done probably in stages when I find the time.

The 30 PLR Challenge is still going and I’m still falling further and further behind.  In fact, I think it will probably be finished in about 5 days so I haven’t got much time left to catch up.  I am planning for this site and my PLR site to be my main two business sites so I do need to get stuck into the PLR side of it a bit more too and build up that website/business.

If there are any ‘business opportunity’ ideas that you would like to see explained on this site please let me know as I haven’t really decided exactly which opportunities I will include on the site.

Unique Articles For Sale

The other day I talked about the website Ghostbloggers.net where you can write and sell your articles.  Of course you can also buy articles that will be unique to you.  When you buy an article at Ghostbloggers.net the full ownership rights are transferred to you so even the original writer cannot use that article again.

Keeping Up With The HAHD Challenge

Are you doing the Ezine Articles HAHD (one hundred articles in one hundred days) challenge?  Are you keeping up?  I just submitted another two articles to Ezines for the challenge that takes me up to 22 articles.  There are 59 days left so I should have actually submitted 41 articles by now so I am running a bit behind.

When I submitted these 2 articles today it still shows me at 20 articles but perhaps that is because they are in pending status, although I’m sure the others I submitted added to the total straight away.

Anyway, I think I need to start doing 2 articles a day to get back up to date with the challenge or I’m just not going to make it!

Not Enough Hours in The Day!

Do you ever feel like there is so much to do but just not enough time to do it in?  Well, I tend to feel like that all the time.  I have so much going on that I need to be doing but just don’t have enough time to do it all.

This week I have been working with my son a lot with his site and Squidoo lens.  We have updated his Squidoo lens and added more to it.  I think it is just about complete now, I’m not sure if there is any more that I could add to it.  Now we need to concentrate on building some backlinks to it and try to get it ranking well.  It is ranking #65,866 overall in Squidoo which isn’t too bad.  In Google it’s not ranking in the top 500 so it’s indexed but not showing anywhere.

Adsense 100k Blueprint System Income Update

Firstly, before I get into business for today I just want to ask everyone to keep the people of Queensland, Australia in your thoughts today as they are expecting the strongest cyclone every to hit Australia to hit this evening.  Queensland has already suffered those devastating floods a couple of weeks ago and now this!  It’s a sad day today to watch the news and think of the poor Queenslander’s and what they are going through – again!

Now to business…..

I have been slowly working on a website using the Adsense 100k Blueprint system and last week I started a second website.  I haven’t updated my progress here because I have been doing it on a site that I have set up just for that.  I won’t go into all the details of my journey here or I’d just be repeating everything that is on my other site.  But you can read my whole Adsense 100k Blueprint journey HERE.
