My head is spinning, I just seem to have so much going on that I can’t keep up.  So I need to get focused – again – and reset my goals to start achieving results.  The kids are back at school next week so at least I will be able to concentrate again instead of working with kids fighting in the background.

So my goals:

  • To add one new pack of articles to my PLR site each week – although I’m a little undecided as to whether I’ll be able to achieve that and perhaps I should make it once a fortnight, but I will say each week for the moment and see how I go. Read more…

I am going to mentor someone and it’s all quite exciting for me.  I don’t think I’m good enough really to mentor anyone so I’m going to start with my son :)

My son Ben has just turned 13 and he has had his own website for quite some time but it has been very neglected.  The other day he said he was going to start working on it again and he is really into video games, particularly Black Ops and any PSP game.  So I thought I might mentor him and am going to spend some time each day working with him on the following:

I’ve only just discovered Google Alerts recently and I don’t know why I haven’t used it before – it is amazing.

With Google Alerts you can set up an alert for a particular keyword phrase or name and Google will send you an email when that phrase or name is published or indexed (not sure which) online.

First I set up an alert for my own name ‘Sheryl Polomka’ and now I receive alerts whenever my name is published online.  So mostly I receive alerts when I submit articles to article directories and they are published.  Read more…

I’m sitting in my caravan at the moment on holidays and probably shouldn’t be thinking about work.  But I won’t for long, I’m going to write this post and then go and enjoy a drink or two with my husband and brother-in-law (yes I’m the only woman on our camping trip as usual).

I have been thinking a little about what I want to do with regards to Internet Marketing next year and so I thought I’d come and write my goals in the hope it might help me to work toward them once they are written.  I don’t have any massive goals but just generally to expand on what I’m already doing.

I haven’t updated about my Deadbeat Super Affiliate site for a while because I just haven’t had time to work on my site and probably wont until the New Year.  But I checked my Amazon stats and I did make another sale – not bad considering I haven’t done a lot with this site and haven’t done anything at all over the last couple of weeks.

The sale wasn’t for the product I’m promoting though it was for something completely different – Windows 7 software – but it earned me $6.60 commission so that little bit is better than nothing.  Getting little sales like this makes me want to get back into it and spend the time working on it more, if I can make a couple of sales without doing much at all with the site, imagine what I could do if I was really working hard and putting the time into this site.

I’ve been using 2checkout for over a month now and I had one issue recently with them that I wanted to come in and talk about.  It’s not very often that I am so impressed with customer service that I want to tell people about it.

I have received one payment transferred to my bank account from 2checkout but then payments stopped and I didn’t know why so I opened a support ticket.  I received a reply the next day stating that I needed to fill in a ‘Supplier Identification Form’ and I was notified of this earlier.

I don’t recall being notified of this so I contacted their risk department asking a few questions.
