Ben’s Lens Update and End of Ezine Articles Challenge

Two things to discuss today, first I just want to give a quick update on my son Ben’s Squidoo lenses.  We have worked together and created a couple more lenses for him.  Then I want to briefly mention the Ezine Articles 100 articles in 100 day challenge.

This one we decided to create because my younger son is getting a tablet for his birthday so we have been doing lots of research on them to choose which one to get.  So with all that research we figured we should put it to use and create a lens on it.  It turns out to be quite a good topic actually and is receiving the most views out of all his lenses.

A Plug for My Son’s Second Squidoo Lens

Just a short post today as I have a thousand things to do and must get on with them.  I wrote yesterday about my sons first Squidoo lens about Call of Duty: Black Ops.

My Sons First Squidoo Lens

A few posts back I mentioned that I was going to start mentoring my son with Internet Marketing.  We haven’t really done much as I think he loved the idea but didn’t like the idea of doing the actual work.  So today I sat down and told him that I wouldn’t force him to do it if he doesn’t want to, but as long as he doesn’t expect me to do it all for him and then give him any money that’s earned.

So he came and sat with me while we created a Squidoo lens.  Although I did do most of it, he sat with me to watch as I did it all.  It isn’t a completely lens as yet but I think that was all he could do for one day without getting too bored.  So we did a little bit and then hopefully I’ll get him back to add more text boxes to it tomorrow.

I’m Mentoring My First Student

I am going to mentor someone and it’s all quite exciting for me.  I don’t think I’m good enough really to mentor anyone so I’m going to start with my son :)

My son Ben has just turned 13 and he has had his own website for quite some time but it has been very neglected.  The other day he said he was going to start working on it again and he is really into video games, particularly Black Ops and any PSP game.  So I thought I might mentor him and am going to spend some time each day working with him on the following:
