Continually adding content to your website or blog though is a time consuming process and who wants to spend hours and hours writing.  Some people don’t even enjoy writing or find it difficult which makes it even harder to keep up with adding content to your website.

You can pay someone to write articles for you to add to your website but paying someone for unique content can be quite expensive, but if you don’t want to write your own content then what other choice do you have.

Well this brings us to the Pros of PLR articles.

PLR or Private Label Rights are articles that you can purchase but they can be sold to others also, so they are not unique.  You can add them to your website as they are or you can do a quick rewrite to make them unique before adding them to your website.

PLR articles have become quite popular and here are the reasons why:

Buying PLR articles will save you time.  You won’t have to spend hours writing your own content.

PLR articles are a lot less expensive that buying unique articles written exclusively for you.

Even if you rewrite the articles it is still a lot faster and easier than writing articles from scratch.

Saves you the hassle of doing hours of research to find what to write about, it’s all done for you.

PLR allows you to put your own name to them as author and to make any changes that you like if you aren’t happy with them as they are.

There are a couple of cons with PLR and these are:

Some cheap PLR is exactly that – cheap and nasty.  The cheap PLR can be very poorly written and I personally wouldn’t want to put them onto my own website, so it is usually best to pay a little bit extra to get good quality PLR.

There could be thousands of the same article floating around the internet.  For this reason it is good to buy PLR that is sold in limited quantities so that you know there wont be thousands of the same article floating around.

You cannot submit PLR articles to article directories without rewriting them as they will not be accepted if the article is already published on the internet.

Conclusion

Private Label Rights articles are fantastic for saving you time in writing articles and saving you time in doing research.  Even if you rewrite them it is still much easier than writing articles completely from scratch.

Good quality PLR articles with limited quantity sold will give you great articles to work with and you can be reassured that there wont be thousands of the same article published elsewhere.

The sad thing is that they build these quick websites, trying to promote products to make a quick buck, but these websites end up ranking up with the good information sites, people read them and actually believe half of what they read.  Is it really fair for Internet Marketers to put up affiliate websites to promote products but their websites are full of lies.  Or not even so much lies, but just stuff that isn’t fully researched and so is not accurate.

Most of this stuff is written after doing a quick search of what else is out there on the topic and then whipping up a quick article about it and then people reading this stuff and believe it.

Is it right to take advantage of people in this way?

I guess it’s done all the time and all over the place though isn’t it?  It isn’t just online and it isn’t just internet marketers.  I guess when you think about it all salespeople take advantage of people to make a sale.

Maybe I’m not cut out to be an Internet Marketer or maybe that’s why I struggle to get as far ahead as some marketers, because I find it hard to cross that line of telling little white lies and taking advantage of people.

But I’m not giving up, I do believe that I can do it and I can do it without changing my beliefs and my morals.

Why I’m writing this post I don’t even know, I just had enough today of all the crap I’ve seen and hear and just wonder if maybe the reason there is so much crap out there is because there are just too many people wanting to make a buck online but really have no idea so just try and lie their way to the top!

What the plug-in does is syndicate an excerpt from your blog post onto up to 15 Web 2.0 properties all in one easy click.  The sites that it posts on are: WordPress, TypePad, Blogger, Vox, LiveJournal, Tumblr, Mulitply, Plurk, FriendFeed, Xanga, Identica, you are, Blellow and Bright Kite.  It will also send a tweet about your latest blog post at the same time.

Now, you do have to take a bit of time in the initial set up of your plug-in.  You need to create accounts at each of the sites, of course.  You can do this right through the WPSyndicator interface as the menu will take you through to all the places that you need to sign up for the various sites.  If you get stuck at all, there are some very handy videos that will guide you through the less obvious spots.  This will take you from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how fast you type and how fast you can get through it all.

Once the initial set up is completed, it’s push button simple to syndicate your latest post.  And one of the best features is that you can choose which sites to syndicate to with each post.  For example, Identical and Blellow only take certain kinds of content so you wouldn’t want to syndicate a post that will be seen as spam to those sites.  You can easily turn those two sites off before you have WPSyndicator do its thing.

What gets posted to the Web 2.0 sites is an excerpt from your post and you can set the length to whatever you want.  By default, it will grab the first 500 characters which will usually average about 100 words.  With that excerpt, will be a link back to your blog that will be “Read more…” or you can set it to the keyword anchor text you want.  With the micro-blogging sites, such as Twitter, instead of the anchor text, it will have a shortened bit.ly link.

So what does this mean?  More traffic from those who read your material on the Web 2.0 sites and wish to read the rest of your article.  They’ll gladly click through to your blog to see what else you have to say.  More subscribers, because once they’re there, you will make sure they see your opt-in form, right?  And of course, more backlinks that show the search engines how popular your blog is.

I have had this plugin for a couple of weeks now and I must say it is the best money I have ever spent.  This saves me so much time and helps build more backlinks to my blogs, it’s absolutely worth every penny it costs.  If there was one thing that I could recommend to anyone online, it would be this plugin.

So, now I’m back on track and getting focused again and I actually have some good news on the reporting side of things.

Blog #1 – This is my good blog at the moment, it is doing really well.  I am actually ranked #1 in Google for my main keyword phrase.  Now there isn’t a huge amount of searches for the main keyword phrase but enough that I’m getting some traffic and making a little money with it.  So my goal now with this blog is to focus on a couple of different LSI keyword phrases and try to rank for them also.

For the month of July, Blog #1 earned $8.66 in Adsense and around $7 from Amazon.  So far in August it has earned $3.02 in Adsense, so it is gradually picking up in earning, although not enough to earn an income from, it is at least starting to earn some income now.

Blog #2 – this one is still very slow earning just 66c in July in Adsense and around $2.00 from Amazon.

Blog #3 – this one is doing nothing at all and I’m actually considering selling this one as I am just not finding the time to work on this one.

Blog #4 – I haven’t done anymore work on this one either which I really should as this is a good site and has great potential if I could just get off my but and work on it.

Blog #5 – still working away at this one, and this one isn’t doing too bad.  Although no huge income from it as yet and I’m not ranking well at all in Google, I do still manage to get a couple hundred visitors a day.  This one earned $4.98 in Adsense in June and just 88c so far in August.  This one has around 200 backlinks and just not ranking well, I have no idea why but I’m really struggling to get this one to rank.  This is my biggest site with quite a lot of pages and posts on it, but it is just struggling to rank.

So that’s my update, nothing huge again but slowly getting there.  I really do need to get much more focused and put more energy and attention into the blogs to get them going.

I have been flipping sites for the last couple of years and over the last year have created my own site flipping product.

I am undecided as to whether I will start a new website following the challenge instructions or whether to use the instructions toward one of my existing sites.  I think I will wait until I actually view the instruction videos before I make that decision.

I don’t have a huge update but will give a quick one for the month of June.

My first 4 blogs are doing very poorly and only the newest blog is really doing anything, but that is also quite slow.  I am getting a bit of traffic to it but unfortunately not too many clicks or sales.

So here are the stats for June:

Blog #1 – $0.26 Adsense

Blog #2 – $0.17 Adsense

Blog #3 – zero

Blog #4 – zero

Blog #5 – $13.81 Adsense

So as you can see it is going very slowly but the best performing blog by far is the newest blog #5 which I am continuing to work on and really need to do a heap of article marketing for it.  I have so far only done one article that I’ve submitted to article directories so I’ve been really slack on the marketing side of it.  I have done a little blog commenting which has given me quite a few backlinks but I really need to do some more with article marketing.

I also have a bit of an idea for a product of my own for this blog which I would sell at a fairly low price, but hoping that if there is enough demand for it that I will get enough sales for that low price to build up nicely.  That is still in the thought process though so I still have a lot of work to do on that before it is up and running.

I really also need to add a subscription to this site and start collecting some subscribers so that I can possibly then promote my product to them when it is ready.

So that’s my update, I hope your blogs are doing better than mine, but I will keep on going and hopefully get there soon.

I have written one article today that I am about to post to some article directories and I hope to write one or two articles a day for submission.  That doesn’t really sound like much and many people do much more than that, but I have trouble writing lots of articles in a short period of time, it just bores me too much.

Once this website starts making more money, then I might outsource some of the article writing, although the only problem with that is that I am quite fussy and I’ve never had any articles come back that I’ve been satisfied with in the past.

The income for blog #5 has slowed down a bit, with just $1.11 in the last seven days, which isn’t much at all.  But that’s ok, once I start building backlinks the traffic should hopefully pick up and fingers crossed I will start earning more money.

Just a quick note about blog #1, I made my first Amazon sale from that site yesterday and although the commission was only just over $1, I was just excited to make an Amazon sale.  Blog #1 is the one I need to spend some time building and promoting once I have done enough with blog #5 as that one is ranking well for it’s main keyword phrase but I’d like to get it ranking for other keywords also.  I think that one has a lot of potential if I spend the time on it.

So that’s my update, sorry my updates aren’t more exciting.  Hopefully one day they will be and I will come on here and tell you about all the money I’m making
