I’m not sure if I like it yet or not but I have given this blog a new look with a new theme. I do like it in the sense that it is sleek and professional looking, just not sure about having one sidebar, I did like having two sidebars on this site. But I will leave it like this for a while and see how I go.
Other than the new look I want to just touch on the topic of Procrastination! I’m sure we can all relate to having those days when we procrastinate all day and at the end of the day look back and realize we have done nothing. Well I’m having too many of those days lately and I really must stop them and start being more productive.
I have had a look back and realized that with the years that I’ve been trying to work online the most success I have had was with my PLR selling, so I think that is the one thing I should concentrate on more than anything else. So for 2012, my PLR website is going to be my priority and I would like to try and add one new pack of PLR every week.
Just before Christmas I wrote a pack of Toy PLR which I offered as a freebie to my subscribers and basically anyone that wanted to have it. If you haven’t got this pack then it’s still available here:

I hope to be doing more freebie packs this year as I like to give something back to those who are subscribed to my list.
I will do a clean up and get rid of some of my websites that are sitting around doing nothing and I also need to do some work on those websites that are earning some money but could be doing a lot better with some time spent on them.
I have one website in particular that I started following the Adsense 100K Blueprint method. I only wrote about 3 or 4 posts on this site and then it has been neglected. This website however is now earning on average $4 a day in Adsense and I know that if I spent some time working on this site and adding more content to it I could be earning more with it.
So I have that site plus a couple other sites that make a little bit of money that I would like to spend more time on so I can increase their income.
What will I do to motivate myself? Well, I just need to remind myself of all the things in my home that are breaking down lately. You know how everything seems to break at once, well it’s that time for me. We recently had to buy a new washing machine, we had to get the air conditioner fixed, the dishwasher died and last week the vacuum cleaner blew up. Our car is getting pretty old too and we really need to think about getting a new car at some stage soon too. So I certainly have a lot of things that I need to spend money on so they are my motivators.
How do you deal with procrastination and what do you use for motivation?
It’s hard Sheryl but I can relate what you are saying.
I am a natural procrastinator according to Myers-Briggs and it’s true, I leave things till the last minute. This approach just doesn’t work very well in life.
Aside from a recent vacation, I now try to do a bit of work every single day. I have also abandoned pretty much all my old projects. Selling them off really helps for that.
It’s funny, because lack of money is not a great motivator. I have been in debt in the past and it didn’t change anything, you just end up being stressed but at the same time more comfortable with it.
I really don’t have the answer, the only thing I will say is that I have benefited greatly from focusing on one thing lately.

It’s true that lack of money is not a motivator. We have been struggling financially for a while and there are so many things I want but can’t get because I can’t afford them. So the money factor is certainly there but not enough to motivate me.
I have let some of my websites go but still have a few. I am going to try to focus solely on my PLR I think and see how I go. PLR has always felt like a ‘real’ business to me as opposed to Adsense sites or Affiliate marketing, when although they can bring in money, they don’t seem like a ‘real’ business. Hmmm, I hope that makes sense
