Other than the new look I want to just touch on the topic of Procrastination!  I’m sure we can all relate to having those days when we procrastinate all day and at the end of the day look back and realize we have done nothing.  Well I’m having too many of those days lately and I really must stop them and start being more productive.

I have had a look back and realized that with the years that I’ve been trying to work online the most success I have had was with my PLR selling, so I think that is the one thing I should concentrate on more than anything else.  So for 2012, my PLR website is going to be my priority and I would like to try and add one new pack of PLR every week.

Just before Christmas I wrote a pack of Toy PLR which I offered as a freebie to my subscribers and basically anyone that wanted to have it.  If you haven’t got this pack then it’s still available here:

I hope to be doing more freebie packs this year as I like to give something back to those who are subscribed to my list.

I will do a clean up and get rid of some of my websites that are sitting around doing nothing and I also need to do some work on those websites that are earning some money but could be doing a lot better with some time spent on them.

I have one website in particular that I started following the Adsense 100K Blueprint method.  I only wrote about 3 or 4 posts on this site and then it has been neglected.  This website however is now earning on average $4 a day in Adsense and I know that if I spent some time working on this site and adding more content to it I could be earning more with it.

So I have that site plus a couple other sites that make a little bit of money that I would like to spend more time on so I can increase their income.

What will I do to motivate myself?  Well, I just need to remind myself of all the things in my home that are breaking down lately.  You know how everything seems to break at once, well it’s that time for me.  We recently had to buy a new washing machine, we had to get the air conditioner fixed, the dishwasher died and last week the vacuum cleaner blew up.  Our car is getting pretty old too and we really need to think about getting a new car at some stage soon too.  So I certainly have a lot of things that I need to spend money on so they are my motivators.

How do you deal with procrastination and what do you use for motivation?

There are two main changes that I am thinking of making:

1. Change the WordPress theme to something different.  I want something professional, yet nice.  I have one in mind that I might use but it is a paid theme so still having a think about whether to fork out the money for a paid theme or not.

2. I am thinking I might move my blog to a ‘blog’ page and have a separate home page for this site.  I originally wanted this site to give some options of ways for Mums to earn money online and it doesn’t really give that clearly at the moment.  It has been more of a blog and that’s all, so I’m thinking of having a home page that lists some of the various options for making money online and keeping the blog but having it on a different page.

It’s going to take a bit of work though to get it to where I want it and at the moment it is still just in the ‘thoughts’ stage.  I still need to keep working on my other jobs and the site changeover will be done probably in stages when I find the time.

The 30 PLR Challenge is still going and I’m still falling further and further behind.  In fact, I think it will probably be finished in about 5 days so I haven’t got much time left to catch up.  I am planning for this site and my PLR site to be my main two business sites so I do need to get stuck into the PLR side of it a bit more too and build up that website/business.

If there are any ‘business opportunity’ ideas that you would like to see explained on this site please let me know as I haven’t really decided exactly which opportunities I will include on the site.

When I submitted these 2 articles today it still shows me at 20 articles but perhaps that is because they are in pending status, although I’m sure the others I submitted added to the total straight away.

Anyway, I think I need to start doing 2 articles a day to get back up to date with the challenge or I’m just not going to make it!

I have been quite busy working on other things – particularly Squidoo lenses – I think I’ve become addicted to Squidoo.  I have a strategy now that I’m going to follow though and see how I go with that.

I’ve done no work whatsoever on my Deadbeat Super Affiliate website or my Adsense 100k Blueprint websites – they are falling way behind too, so I must get back on track with those too.  There just isn’t enough time in the day!

Yesterday I started a ‘To Do’ notebook where I’m listing my tasks that I need to do and can cross them off when I complete them.  Because it’s a notebook I can just keep adding to the end of the list – or slotting things in if they are urgent.  Hopefully that will keep me productive and keep me on track.

That’s about it for me, I did a quick check of my January income which was quite a bit below my December income.  January came to about $748 (December was just over $1000).  There was about $500 from Clickbank and the rest from 2CO – which is my PLR income.

So January was a little disappointing and February so far is looking to come out at about the same as January.

But that’s ok, it’s still higher than what I was making 3 months ago so I just have to keep going and increasing that income each month.

This week I have been working with my son a lot with his site and Squidoo lens.  We have updated his Squidoo lens and added more to it.  I think it is just about complete now, I’m not sure if there is any more that I could add to it.  Now we need to concentrate on building some backlinks to it and try to get it ranking well.  It is ranking #65,866 overall in Squidoo which isn’t too bad.  In Google it’s not ranking in the top 500 so it’s indexed but not showing anywhere.

Yesterday we added a review to his website and that is already ranking at #88 for the keyword phrase ‘Black Ops Domination’ although the searches for those keywords isn’t extremely high.  We are trying to rank for the term ‘black ops guide’.

With my own work I am currently working on a PLR article pack and hope to have that finished and added to my PLR site today.  This pack of articles is in the ‘snoring’ niche and was a request by a customer so hopefully they will be up and live this afternoon.

I have been a bit slack with my PLR site lately so I really want to start concentrating on that and get more article packs added to it.  I have also been slack with the Ezine Articles HAHD challenge, but I haven’t given up on it I just have some catching up to do

So that is what I’ve been up to and what my plans are for today.

So my goals:

• To add one new pack of articles to my PLR site each week – although I’m a little undecided as to whether I’ll be able to achieve that and perhaps I should make it once a fortnight, but I will say each week for the moment and see how I go.
• To work on the membership site I’m planning, I want to have at least 3 months worth of content ready before I launch it and at the moment I have about 3 weeks worth.  So I want to create at least one weeks content for my membership site every week.
• To add content and backlinks to my Adsense 100k Blueprint websites and also my Deadbeat Super Affiliate website.  I want to add at least 2 blog posts every day (can be divided among the sites) and also submit at least 2 articles a day to article directories.
• To organize my sites that I just don’t have time for and sell them.
• Complete writing jobs for clients when required

The writing jobs I do for clients is my first priority and often I just don’t get time for doing much of the other stuff depending on how many jobs I have.  I don’t make good enough use of my time though and really need to organize myself so I can be more productive with the time that I’ve got.

So that’s it – my updated goals and plan to be more productive.

Did I do it????

Yes – woo hoo!  The problem is that although it is great that I am achieving my goals and earning the amounts I’m aiming for each month, the higher the income gets the harder it is to reach those goals!

So my income for December is:

• 2Checkout:  $710
• Clickbank: $420

Giving me a total of $1,130.  The 2checkout income is a combination of PLR sales and some article rewriting work.  I think from memory I had around $250 of rewriting work in that total.

I have made a little bit on Adsense but haven’t counted that as it hasn’t been paid out as yet and I’m only counting the money as income once it is transferred into my bank account.  So this $1,130 is the money that I have in my hand.

I did make some money through Paypal from writing work but I use that money to pay my expenses and haven’t transferred it over to my bank for that reason, so I haven’t included that income in my total income.

So I guess my January income goal is to beat $1,130  – so my goal is $1,131 or more.  Now I’m getting worried about reaching that!

I have been thinking a little about what I want to do with regards to Internet Marketing next year and so I thought I’d come and write my goals in the hope it might help me to work toward them once they are written.  I don’t have any massive goals but just generally to expand on what I’m already doing.

PLR Website

I want to keep working on my PLR website and stocking it with more PLR article packs and possibly some more reports.  I should set  a specific number or article packs to add each month but I worry if I set a number I won’t stick to it, but I would like to add at least 3 sets a month would be good.

Affiliate Websites

I don’t have any plans to start any new affiliate websites at the moment, but I want to keep working mainly on my Adsense 100k Blueprint review site and the Amazon site that I started with Deadbeat Super Affiliate.  I also have one other site that is a couple of years old that gets the occasional sale and really has a lot of potential so I want to revamp that one a bit and set it up more like the DSA sites.

Adsense Websites

I have only set up one Adsense website following Adsense 100k Blueprint so I want to keep working on that, make it a little bigger and work on building backlinks to it.  If I can get that one earning some money then I might create more sites following this system.

PLR IM Membership

This is going to be my new baby this year.  I want to set up a PLR membership site in the Internet Marketing niche.  I plan to deliver 7 articles a week in the IM niches, so basically my customers will receive 1 article a day but receive them weekly.  Not sure how I will price it yet but I’m thinking around $15 to $20 a month, somewhere in that range.

Article Rewriting

I have a couple of customers that I rewrite articles for so I hope to keep doing work for them at least until I have more money coming in from my other income sources.

That’s about it really, like I said no massive goals except for the membership site that will be the biggest one.  I think that is enough as I want to set achievable goals and not get depressed when I set myself too many goals and then don’t meet them.

I am currently just writing articles, I have two orders to complete plus I want to get at least one article written and added to my Adsense 100k Blueprint website.

I feel I spend too much time on the Warrior forum and checking stats and doing all those time wasting things that if I didn’t do them I would probably get my articles written in half the time.  So today I am going to close Firefox and just write articles without checking anything else.  I might even close my email program and only check emails once or twice throughout the day.

That is my challenge for today, to see if I can write a record number of articles (record number for me).

So that’s my post, I’m closing everything off now while I go and work my little fingers off

I haven’t added any new PLR to my site in a while because I’ve been working on other writing jobs for some customers and also working on my Deadbeat Super Affiliate website and my new Adsense 100k Blueprint website.

I haven’t done a whole lot on my DSA site this week other than some backlinking but I’ve been working on my A100KB site a bit.  I started that one all over again as I decided against the niche that I’d chosen and then did my niche research all over again.  I have a niche now and a website up and running with one post and one page added to it so far.  It’s a very ugly website, using the theme given with the course, but it apparently converts really well, so I’ll stick with it and see.

YAY – I achieved my goal!

My income for November:

• Clickbank – $120
• PLR Store – $504
• Rewriting Work – $100

I have made some small amounts with Adsense and Amazon but I’m not counting them in this months income because I only count my income as the money I have in my hand (or in my bank account).  With Adsense and Amazon I haven’t reached the threshold this month so haven’t received any payment from them.

I also actually earned around $400 with rewriting jobs and a WordPress job, but this was straight into my Paypal account which I then use that money to pay for my expenses.  I’ve had a few expenses with running WSO’s, domain names etc. so those came straight out of my Paypal account.  So for my income I have only counted the money that I have transferred from my Paypal account into my bank account.

So all up, for the month of November, I have in my hand around $724.  So I passed my goal of $208.  Now the problem is that Decembers goal is to make at least $725 – can I do it!!!
